Fitness Programs & Services
We also offer a variety of programs year-round to enhance your overall health and well-being. These include:
All members are required to complete a PAR-Q (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire), waiver and informed consent. The initial health screening consists of resting heart rate, blood pressure and BMI. The PAR-Q is re-administered on an annual basis.
All members, regardless of their experience in using exercise equipment, are required to take part in an equipment orientation session to become familiar with the unique features of the equipment and to ensure the safety of all participants.\n\nEquipment orientation sessions cover exercise safety, correct exercise technique, proper use of equipment, warm-up and cool-down exercises, basic weight training principles and techniques to monitor heart rate and exercise intensity.
Exercise Program Design
A Certified Tri Fit Fitness Consultant will meet with each member to discuss their fitness and sport interests and goals. A personal exercise program is designed to reflect these goals, whether it be training for your favourite sport or general conditioning. This process provides a baseline for measuring improvement.
Group Exercise Classes
The Club offers a wide variety of group exercise classes for all fitness levels and interests.
Dance, weight train, step, crunch, do Downward Dog, hold a plank, stretch and relax all in our group exercise studios. With dynamic instructors and music to make you move, all your stress will soon disappear.
