Southcore Financial Centre has received a 3 Star Fitwel Rating by the Center for Active Design. The Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification program works to help improve accessibility of the built environment in Canada – the places where we live, work, learn and play and helps create a fully accessible and inclusive Canada.

18 York Street (2012) and 120 Bremner (2016) Boulevard have both achieved LEED® Gold Core and Shell Certification.
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is an international rating system recognized as a mark of excellence for green buildings in 150 countries.
The Gold Core and Shell Certification recognizes he many sustainable feature requirements which have been incorporated into the design, construction and operation of this building.

PwC Tower at 18 York was presented with Race to Reduce awards in 2013 and 2015 for its commitment to reduce energy use in a commercial office building.
Winner Building Performance – Lowest Energy Use in the 500,000 sq. ft. – 1,000,000 sq. ft. commercial office building category.

The /SFC southcore.ca website was recognized with a Best In Class Award in the Real Estate Category. This award recognized the website for the very best in planning, execution and overall professionalism. The website also was in the Top 30 Websites of the Year for 2013.

2018 BOMA Toronto Earth Award - 120 Bremner Blvd.
Southcore Financial Centre received the Earth Award in the over 500,000 sq. ft. category for Bremner Tower. The award is presented to buildings who earn the highest points under the BOMA BEST certification in a given category.

2018 Fitwell Certification - 120 Bremner Blvd.
Southcore Financial Centre’s Bremner Tower earned Fitwel certification from the Center for Active Design in association with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Fitwel is a building rating system for commercial interiors and both multi-tenant and single-tenant existing buildings that provides guidelines on how to design and operate healthier buildings.
The Bremner Tower participated in a QuadReal corporate pilot initiative and is one of the first buildings to be certified in Canada. QuadReal is also part of the Fitwel Advisory Council.
