Opening of the Bee Hive – Alvéole Workshop

July 16, 2019

The /SFC Property Management team invited tenants to attend a Hive Opening Workshop in celebration of honey harvest season.

During this interactive activity, an Alvéole beekeeper showed attendees a real honeycomb straight out of the hive covered with hundreds of worker bees. Enthusiasts were even given the chance to hold a frame in their hands! Alvéole bees are selected for their docility, which enabled us to give this unique, educative experience without any danger.  Tenants discovered the hidden treasures of the hive. Unfortunately, Her Majesty the Queen was too busy for a visit and decided to stay out of view. Maybe she will make an appearance at the next hive opening. Stay Tuned!
